Explosions from stars, so-called supernovas, can shed some light onto the research into dark matter. This has been shown by a study carried out by a team of German and Slovenian researchers at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the University of Nova Gorica. Due to the Corona Pandemic, the application deadline for the FAU mentoring programme ARIADNEdoc/postdoc+ has been extended until 15 May 2020. The 18-months programme is designed for female doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and Habilitandinnen of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Sciences, who are aiming for an academic career. The programme starts in October 2020 and ends in March 2022.
