Titel: Entanglement-enabled imaging through scattering media
Abstract:
Entanglement is a key resource in quantum technologies. Without a classical equivalent, it ensures the superior performance of quantum systems
compared to classical ones, provided it plays a non-trivial role in the process. In optical imaging, however, it is generally challenging to
demonstrate the essential role of entanglement. In most applications, the focus is often on optical correlations stemming from entangled states -
correlations that can typically be reproduced by classical states - making them the central feature of imaging systems rather than entanglement itself.
In our work, we explore imaging scenarios where entanglement could play a critical and non-trivial role. Specifically, in this presentation,
I will discuss recent studies where entangled states are used to image through scattering media. And, as always, there will be pictures of cats !
