Laboratory Facilities

Arbeitsplatz im Elektronikpraktikum

The electronics laboratory room has 15 identically equipped workplaces.

Measuring Devices

  • Laboratory power supply Agilent E3631A (6 V / 5 A, +/-25 V / 1 A)
  • Digital multimeter Agilent 34410A (6 1/2 digit resolution)
  • Arbitrary signal generator Agilent 33220A (20 MHz, 14 bit)
  • 4+16 Channel Mixed-Signal Oscilloscope Agilent MSO6014A (100 MHz, 2 GSa/s)
  • Data acquisition card NI PCIe-6321 / BNC-2120 (8 differential analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 250 kSa/s, 16 bit, 24 Digital-In/Output)

All measurement devices can be controlled and read from the computer.

  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows Enterprise
  • Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN): eLabFTW
  • Office-applications: Microsoft Office, LibreOffice
  • Data evaluation and representation: Python/Jupyter, SciDAVis
  • Circuit / PCB editor: Eagle (free edition)
  • Programming: Python/Jupyter

The computers are integrated in the FAUAD, logging onto the computer is done through the IDM single-signon.

  • Access to the room is controlled by SIPORT by means of your FAUcard (after activation)
  • Air conditioning
  • Preparation room with additional laboratory workspace, spray etching machine and CNC milling machine to produce small printed circuits
