The Department of Physics hosts an annual academic graduation ceremony to honour graduates and doctoral candidates from the previous academic year.
During the ceremony, the graduates and doctoral candidates are presented with their diplomas. Another highlight of the ceremony is the awarding of the Ohm Prizes of the Department of Physics for the promotion of young scientists for outstanding theses.
The ceremony concludes with a commemorative lecture. The event is traditionally accompanied by music from the Niglas T. Flimm band.
Afterwards, the department invites the graduates and their family members and guests to a reception featuring light refreshments and lively conversation.
All graduates and doctoral candidates will receive a personal invitation.
The next academic graduation ceremony will take place on Friday May 8, 2026.
We look forward to seeing you there!
