Department Leadership
The department leadership is composed of four representative professors, including the dean of students, a scientific researchers’ representative and the women’s representative. The department’s spokesman is chosen out of the professors representative’s circle, whose position has a term of two years.

The department office supports the spokesman with the management and committee work. They also administrate finances, the job’s positions and space for the department. The spokesman represents the physics department within the university and beyond. He directs the department’s office sessions and meetings, as well as the department’s professoriums, and implements their decisions.

The Dean of Students
The Dean of Students ensures that courses follow the examination and study regulations and that the studies are carried out within the period of time established by the department. It also ensure the students are properly advised and is responsible for the evaluation of instruction.
The Study Committee
The Study Committee is the central board for all topics that have to do with studies and teaching (organization and implementation of teaching, evaluation, and further development of the degree program as well as information and coordination between instructors and students) and holds a meeting at least one time per semester.
